Main Postdoc Duties

Manage and oversee mouse studies, including implementation of Cre-lox/Cre-flox breeding strategies and maintenance of transgenic animal colonies.

Expertise in murine dissection techniques, including pancreatic islet isolation, macrophage isolation from peripheral blood, and aortic dissection with en face preparation of atherosclerotic lesions (aorta harvesting, separation, and pinning).

Perform functional studies and mechanistic molecular investigations using advanced molecular biology techniques, including CRISPR gene editing, siRNA-mediated knockdown, qPCR, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, FACS sorting, and flow cytometry.

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot innovative molecular biology methods and experimental protocols.

Independently analyze complex biological results and contribute substantially to the preparation of high-impact scientific manuscripts, grant applications, and collaborative research projects.
